If you want to catch a glimpse of the legendary Schöllenen Gorge and feel the myth of the Gotthard region up close, you should take the hike from Göschenen to Andermatt (or vice versa) during the summer months. The vertical rock faces and the rushing Reuss river offer a fascinating sight. With a bit of luck, chamois and deer can be spotted on rocky outcrops in the «Schöllenen».
