As a holiday-home owner, you make an important contribution to the sustainable development and promotion of tourism in the Andermatt Holiday Region by paying the loding fee.
The Andermatt Holiday Region uses the fee for tourist services, information of all kinds, for the organisation of events, the construction and operation of tourist facilities and the planning and development of offers.
For example you support:
Accommodation fees are levied by the municipalities. These are payable irrespective of whether the property is owner-occupied or let on a commercial basis. Detailed information can be found in the regulations.
For the municipalities of Göschenen, Wassen and Gurtnellen the tourism regulations of the Urner Unterland apply. Detailed information can be found in the regulations.
For holiday home owners and people living in the same household, two versions of the digital Guest Card will be available in summer 2024:
With the free Guest Card you can benefit from diverse complimentary services and discounts in the Holiday Regions Andermatt and Disentis Sedrun. You can also purchase the «Mountain and Train» ticket. This allows you to use the mountain railways in Andermatt, Sedrun and Disentis as well as the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway from Realp to Disentis. The Guest Card and the "Mountain and Train" ticket are valid for a maximum of seven days, but can be purchased several times.
Registration
You can request the Guest Card via the following link: Guest Card registration. The Tourist Information will verify your registration. After successful verification, you will receive an email with the activation link. Clicking on the link will take you to the user login page. Log in there or assign a password. Your Guest Card is now ready for use.
«Mountain & Train» ticket
The «Mountain & Train» ticket can be booked in addition via the first discount service directly under the Guest Card. The «Mountain & Train» ticket is available as a voucher in the email confirmation or under the orders in the user profile.

The Guest Card plus Summer Pass includes various complimentary services and discounts as well as unlimited use of the mountain railways in Andermatt, Sedrun and Disentis and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway from Realp to Disentis for leisure travel (excluding the Glacier Express). The Guest Card plus Summer Pass is valid from 1 May - 31 October 2024.

Should you wish to rent out your holiday home, we would be extremely grateful for these extra beds in the Andermatt Holiday Region.
Benefit from a free of charge listing in our holiday home directory. This is handed out to guests at the Tourist Information Office or sent to them by e-mail and is posted here. We will also be happy to add you to our e-mail distribution list for accommodation enquiries. Inclusion in this distribution list is free of charge for you.
