Description

The Four-source path in the Gotthard massif leads to the sources of the four rivers Rhine, Reuss, Ticino and Rhone. The hike roams through rugged, Alpine landscapes featuring a great diversity of flora and fauna. It is possible to feel the history of the surrounding Gotthard area.

Four-source path
Along Lago Lucendro, this third stage of the route leads to the Reuss source at the foot of the Lucendro pass and continues across the latter.

After a long hike, abounding in views on the heights above the Bedretto valley, hikers reach the stage finish – the Piansecco hut.

Overnight stays are possible at the Piansecco hut. Reservation is advisable, as the hut may be fully booked.
