Here you discover how the Federal Office for Roads, ASTRA, builds the tunnel and what this means for the Region. You learn what is required to build such a tunnel and which people work behind the scenes on a project of this size. Thanks to the digital and virtual presentations the viewer is, as never before, at the front of this huge build and one may even learn a little Italian at the same time.
Entrance is free and registration is not necessary. For groups of 10 or more a registration is recommended.

Since August 2021 guided tours for groups between 6 and 20 persons have been on offer at the Info Centre (book here).
Guided Tour Info Centre
Contents: A guided tour of the Info Centre in Göschenen, insight of the exhibition in the former and magnificent Railway Station Buffet in Göschenen, whereby there is much of interest to learn about the second Gotthard Tunnel building site (duration: ca. 1hr).
Guided Tour Info Centre and Village (spring umtill autumn)
Contents: A guided tour of the Info Centre, subsequently through the village of Göschenen where those interested gain an insight into the infrastructure of the Federal Office for Roads ASTRA and can view the main building site (duration: max. 2hrs. Note: there is NO tour of the building site).
