It is a journey through the magnificent landscape of the Gotthard, combined with the travel romance of past times.
Following in the footsteps of merchants, world travellers and ambassadors of yesteryear, the Historical Gotthard stagecoach passes through Andermatt over the Gotthard Pass, on the legendary Tremola road down into Ticino and on to Airolo.

Andermatt - Hospental - Mätteli - Brüggloch - Hospice - Tremola - Motto Bartola - Airolo
The trip with theHistorical Gotthard stagecoach over the Gotthard offers space for a maximum of eight people. The journey takes one day, the actual riding time is five hours.
In Airolo there are regular train connections back to Andermatt via Göschenen.
The experience can only be booked during the summer months, as the Gotthard Pass is closed in winter.
