Current road reports, accessibility of pass roads, first-hand information about pass regions.
Spellbinding Alpine PassesSun, sea and mountains – summer and winter alike.
The Arni is Uri’s sun terrace. Day-trippers can reach the Arni in just a few minutes by the cable cars from Amsteg or Intschi. There is some wonderful relaxation to be had in the idyllic landscape around the picturesque Arni lake.
In the summer, the Arni is an ideal departure point for hikes as well as bike and mountain tours. Those who like to take it easier can relax in one of the rest areas around the Arni lake. Visitors can gather their strength in two restaurants and a chalet.
The wonderful silence is a pleasure in the winter. The landscape high above the Uri Reuss valley is an inviting place for winter hikes and ski tours. It is a fantastic feeling to leave a snowshoe trail behind in the splendid whiteness and do some refuelling at the same time.
